Confined Space Competent Person Certification Training. Fatalities in Confined spaces are usually in pairs, as you look inside and see your coworker lying on the ground. In 2015 OSHA changed the training requirements to include Construction in the Confined Space standard. Our Confined Space Competent Person training will teach employees how to be safe. How long can you survive in a low-oxygen space? What is the definition of a confined space, and is it a Permit required or a non-permit required? The confined Space Entry person and the attendant must be trained.

Many workplaces contain confined spaces because their configurations hinder the activities of employees who must enter, work in, and exit them. These confined spaces have limited or restricted means for entry or exit, may contain hazards, and are not designed for continuous employee occupancy. Confined spaces include, but are not limited to, underground vaults, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos, process vessels, and pipelines. If you work in any confined space, you need to be trained.

Our Confined Space Competent Person Training meets the Training requirements of OSHA as it has been recently updated. After completing this course, students will be able to:

A. Describe a permit required for a confined space.

B. Understand the requirements of OSHA Regulation 1910.146.

C. Understand safe work practices for working in and around confined spaces.

D. Understand the requirements of the competent person.

E. Is the underside of a house a confined space, a Permit-Required, or just a space?

F. Confined Space Rescue Requirements.

H. Can we convert it to a non-permit required confined space?

We also provide the forms needed for confined spaces. The Confined Space Competent Person Training is offered in-person or online, and a Confined Space Training Certification Card is issued after the training is completed.
